How to Sign Up
Kids (ages 0-12) can register for the program in the library or online beginning June 23 and at any time through the summer.
Once kids sign up, they will receive a reading passport and a free Dairee Delite coupon.

How to Collect and Win Prizes
Kids visit the library and earn a ballot for each book they have read to be entered into a weekly draw. 
These draws are for:

  • Kidtastic passes (June 23 - 29)
  • Twin Valley Zoo Family passes (June 30 - 6)
  • Westfield Heritage Centre passes (July 7 - 13)
  • Brantford Red Sox tickets - adult tickets and kids get in for free (July 14 - 20)
  • $15 Sunset Grill gift cards (July 21 - 27)
  • Twin Valley Zoo Family passes (July 28 - Aug.3)
  • Echo Bowl Family passes (Aug. 4 - 10)
  • Works Burger free kids meals (Aug. 11 - 17)
  • $5 gift cards to Crock-A-Doodle (Aug. 18 - 24)
  • 1 Ozobot, Snap Circuit Board, Slime Making Kit (Aug. 25 - Sept. 1)


In addition, there are two-week periods where kids will receive special prizes just for visiting the library and telling staff about their reading adventures. These prizes are available on a bi-weekly basis and are only available until quantities last. 

  • TD Summer Reading Club notebook, a sticker sheet, an ice cream coupon donated by Dairee Delite and an Echo Bowl coupon (June 23 - Sept. 1)
  • Healthy Kids Community Challenge swag, like hats, t-shirts and frisbees (July 7 - 20)
  • STEM Make and Take Kits (July 21 - Aug. 3)
  • A swim pass (Aug. 4 - 17)
  • A children's book (Aug. 18 - Sept. 1)

Summer Reading Kick-Off Party
On June 23, we will host a Summer Reading Club Kick-Off Party.
Children's author Ruth Ohi will be at this launch event reading from her popular children's books. This event starts at 2:30 p.m. at the Main Branch.
