Preschool Programs

Programs are Drop in (unless specified) and children of all ages are welcome but programs are geared to children ages 0-6.

Get Ready for Kindergarten (Ages: 3-4)

July 4th, 1:00pm - 1:45pm

Preschoolers ages 3+ will enjoy this kindergarten readiness group focusing on curriculum milestones, STEM learning, and social skills.

Babies start learning early literacy skills right from birth. This baby storytime focuses on baby-parent bonding, rhythm and rhyme, and interactive stories and songs.

Parenting Support Programs

All programs are Drop in and children of all ages are welcome but programs are geared to children ages 0-6.  These programs run all year (except when the library is closed).

Brant County Health Unit Family Drop In (Ages: 0-5)

June 1st, 10:00am - 12:00pm

Main Library

Parents and their children, ages 0-5, can learn about healthy child development, school preparation, positive parenting, attachment, breastfeeding support, and healthy lifestyle choices. In partnership with the Brant County Health Unit. Just drop in! Program runs all year.

Stay and Play Best Start Family Drop-In (Ages: 0-6)

Come play and learn through activities that foster children's expression and readiness to learn and promotes a strong foundation for lifelong learning. In partnership with the Family Counselling Centre of Brant. Program runs all year.

If you are a young mom, with a baby aged 0 to 12 months, feeling overwhelmed and in need of emotional support, this group is for you!  A light lunch is served and a free taxi is available if needed. In partnership with Kids Can Fly. Call Jane for more info at 519-755-9482. Program runs all year.
