Babies start learning early literacy skills right from birth. This baby storytime focuses on baby-parent bonding, rhythm and rhyme, and interactive stories and songs. After storytime, stay and play with us and meet other families.

Let's all read together! Parents, grandparents and caregivers will enjoy stories, puppets, songs and more with their toddlers and preschoolers.
September 25th, 1:30pm - 2:15pm
Preschoolers ages 3+ will enjoy this Kindergarten readiness group focusing on curriculum milestones. Parents are encouraged to leave the room, but may observe their child from outside our glass program room. Registration begins Sept. 4 for this 12-week program that runs Sept. 11 – Nov. 27th.

Think it, try it! Experiment with unique technologies, learn the basics of block coding, complete challenges with robots or build simple circuit projects.

The creations of your imagination come to life with art! Experiment with creative making, crafting, and painting. Come dressed to get messy!
September 22nd, 2:30pm - 4:00pm
Have you ever wanted to learn chess? Here’s an opportunity to learn the game, or to practice the skills that you already have. A member of the Brantford Chess Club will offer basic instruction and tips on how to improve your game. Just drop-in!
All Family programs are Drop in and children of all ages are welcome but programs are geared to children ages 0-6. These programs run all year (except when the library is closed).

If you are a mom with a baby, age 0 to 12 months, transitioning to parenting, feeling overwhelmed and in need of emotional support this group is for you! A light lunch is served and a free taxi is available if needed. Call Jane at 519-755-9482 for more information. In partnership with Kids Can Fly.
