Programs for Preschoolers and Parents

Family Drop-In & Parenting Support

All Family programs are Drop in and children of all ages are welcome but programs are geared to children ages 0-6.  These programs run all year (except when the library is closed).

Brant County Health Unit Family Drop-In

Brant County Health Unit Family Drop In (Ages: 0-5)

September 6th, 10:00am - 12:00pm

Main Branch

Parents and their children can learn about healthy child development, school preparation, positive parenting, attachment, breast feeding support, and healthy lifestyle choices. In partnership with the Brant County Health Unit. 

Note: Program runs until June and resumes in Fall 2018. 

EarlyON family drop-in

Stay & Play EarlyON Family Drop-In

July 19th, 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Main Branch

Come play and learn through activities that foster children's expression and readiness to learn and promote a strong foundation for lifelong learning. In partnership with Brant Family and Children's Services. 

Please note: There will be no program on June 14th and June 28th. 

Parachute Program

Parachute Program (Ages: 0-12 months)

July 23rd, 12:30pm - 2:00pm

Main Branch

If you are a mom who is in need of emotional support and have kids aged 0-12 months, this group is for you! A light lunch is served and a free taxi is available if needed. Call Jane at 519-755-9482 for more information. In partnership with Kids Can Fly.
