Examine artifacts from WWII, including helmets and hats, medals, soldier’s kits and comforts. Brantford’s contributions at Normandy will be discussed, marking the 75th anniversary of D-Day. Local history enthusiasts will also enjoy learning about library resources for finding genealogy and military records.

Bell City Author Series - Emma Donoghue (Ages: 18+)

Food for Fines

The Brantford Public Library has partnered with the Brantford Food Bank to offer a Food for Fines program.

Through this initiative, customers may donate non-perishable food items in exchange for overdue fines. Each item is worth $5 and up to $20 will be forgiven. This forgiveness does not apply to lost or damaged fines. 

Items will be accepted from 9 a.m. on December 2nd to 8 p.m. on December 9th . The Library will donate all items to the Brantford Food Bank. 

The Food for Fines initiative will help give back to our community during the holiday season.
