Get Ready for Kindergarten (Ages: 3-4)

Preschoolers ages 3+ will enjoy this Kindergarten readiness group focusing on curriculum milestones. Parents are encouraged to leave the room, but may observe their child from outside our glass program room. Fall session runs until Nov. 27th. Registration for Fall 2018 is full.

Homework Help Drop-In

Elementary school students, Grades 3 to 8, can drop-in for homework help with a university student volunteer from the Laurier Students for Literacy Club. Please email LSFLclub@gmail.com for more information.

Runs from September 24 to November 29, except when closed October 8 to 12 for University Reading Week.

Program will resume January 14th to April 4th, 2019, except when closed February 18th to 22nd for University Reading Week and March 11th to 14th for March Break.

English Conversation Circles (Ages: 19+)

For newcomers to Canada, 18 years and older, who want to improve their English speaking skills and make new friends. A partnership of YMCA Immigrant Settlement Services – YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington/Brantford and Brantford Public Library, supported by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Registration required.

3D Certification Program (Ages: 13+)

Here's your chance to bring creativity to the next level!

The Library now offers card holders the chance to print 3D designs that last up to eight hours.

This certification program is mandatory for customers that want to print items that take longer than one hour.

The program will provide an introduction to 3D printing and cover resources needed to get you started creating and modifying designs.

The certification program is open to people ages 13+ and no previous experience is required.

The Library has a range of professional 3D printers, including one that prints in multiple colours.

Registration for the certification sessions is required. If you need assistance registering please call us at 519-756-2220.

Note – Customers can still drop in and print projects that last less than one hour without completing the certification program.
