Six Nations Partnership Celebration - National Indigenous Day

On Thursday, June 20 (the eve of National Indigenous Peoples Day), Six Nations Public Library and Brantford Public Library will hold a celebration at the Main Branch of the Brantford Public Library recognizing a recent agreement that allows free access to each Library systems to residents and business people living in the two communities. 

Schedule of Events: 

4:30 p.m. - Guests arrive and snacks are served
4:45 p.m. - Speeches from Feather Maracle, CEO and Director of Library Services for Six Nations Public Library, and Rae-Lynne Aramburo, CEO and Chief Librarian for the Brantford Public Library. 
5-6 p.m. - Beading and leather bracelet crafts

Get Your Summer Read On Party!

Help us kick start the summer at our giant Summer Reading Launch Party!

Favourite children's author, Andrew Larsen, will be joining our celebration of books and sharing his new book Me, Toma and the Concrete Garden! 

Animals from Touchstone Farm's mobile barnyard will also be visiting to join in on the fun! With games, activities and a chance to register for the Summer Reading club you'll be ready to start your summer reading adventure!

This is all about celebrating reading and the launch of the annual TD Summer Reading Club.

Through the Summer Reading Club, kids 0-12 can earn great prizes and giveaways.
