Program will resume January 14th to April 4th, 2019, except when closed February 18th to 22nd for University Reading Week and March 11th to 14th for March Break.

We meet biweekly from October to May for writing guidance and support, and publish an annual anthology of short memoirs. It is a challenge to begin midway through, but we'll help you catch up.

For newcomers to Canada, 18 years and older, who want to improve their English speaking skills and make new friends. A partnership of YMCA Immigrant Settlement Services – YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington/Brantford and Brantford Public Library, supported by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. Registration required.

In 2019, the Children and Youth Team is embarking on the exciting task of updating the Children’s area at Main Branch (173 Colborne)!

We are providing several opportunities for the community to give input:

March Break (March 9-17) – Throughout the week of March Break, there will be consultation stations for children and adults.

Saturday, March 23 at 3:00 pm

OR Sunday, March 24 at 2:00 pm

OR Tuesday, March 26 at 6:30 pm

Parents and caregivers, please join us for one of these 45-minute sessions of discussion and brainstorming.
