Celebrating forty years of service in 2015, the St. Paul Branch offers a friendly atmosphere and personalized attention in helping our customers meet their information and recreational reading needs.
This popular neighbourhood library first opened its doors on January 19, 1975. After being renovated in 2004, the branch now boasts a reconfigured floor plan which provides plenty of space for new media resources, including CDs and DVDs. The new Book Drop, available 24/7, can be used to drop off materials from either Brantford Public Library location.
Be sure to check the foyer display case that showcases the work of our local artists and hobbyists.
The St. Paul Branch has an excellent collection of fiction to suit all tastes. We have an extensive non-fiction collection with a particularly good choice of cookbooks, travel books, and books for the home handyman. The Branch also has a wide selection of Large Print books from classics to "cozy" mysteries. Our Audiobooks, available in tape and CD formats, are perfect for that commute to your workplace or for the drive to that well deserved vacation. Relax in our comfortable reading area while browsing through our varied selection of newspapers and magazines.
The large picture book collection at the Branch has bedtime stories just right for that special little person. Our Easy Read section has books to start children on the road to reading and for older children we have a varied collection of hardcover and paperback fiction. We also have all the non-fiction material needed for school projects and general interest. Our friendly staff are always ready to help children find the information they need or suggest new authors to encourage reading for pleasure.
Adults are invited to join our St. Paul Readers' Circle that meets on the last Friday of each month.
