Live Planetarium Shows (Ages: all)

Main Branch

Our week-long celebration of science and space concludes September 22 when Astronomy in Action's 25-foot inflatable planetarium will be in the Library for live 30-minute demonstrations. This will be an experience to remember for people of all ages and is part of Lifelong Learning Week

Discover how stories and art come together with award winning picture book maker Elly MacKay. In celebration of Ontario Public Library Week, Elly will give an interactive demonstration of her unique picture book making process. Kids can also make a craft insprired by Elly's art, which was featured in O magazine.

Some games just fail at being the ‘perfect’ game and we want to teach you how to change that!
Join us for our family “Fail Game Jam” where we take a look at some of our favourite games and we work together to make them better. 
Workshop will be led by Laurier Game Librarian, Michelle Goodridge.
