Have you ever wanted to learn chess?  Here’s an opportunity to learn the game, or to practice the skills that you already have. A member of the Brantford Chess Club will offer basic  instruction and tips on how to improve your game. Just drop-in!

3D Avatar Printing (Ages: Ages 10+)

Learn how to design your own digital avatar for your role-playing games. When your final design is complete, print a prototype on the Library’s 3D printer. In partnership with Wilfrid Laurier University’s Game Design and Development program.

Parenting Support Programs

If you are a young mom, with a baby aged 0 to 12 months, feeling overwhelmed and in need of emotional support, this group is for you!  A light lunch is served and a free taxi is available if needed. In partnership with Kids Can Fly. Call Jane for more info at 519-755-9482. Program runs all year.

Brant County Health Unit Family Drop In (Ages: 0-5)

Parents and their children, ages 0-5, can learn about healthy child development, school preparation, positive parenting, attachment, breastfeeding support, and healthy lifestyle choices. In partnership with the Brant County Health Unit. Just drop in! Program runs all year.
