Silver Birch

Apr. 26th, 2:30pm - 3:30pm

The Silver Birch Reading Program brings an excellent selection of recent Canadian children's books to the attention of children in grades 3,4,5 and 6 and rewards them by making them the judges in this province-wide event. Children have three lists to choose from - Fiction, Non-fiction or Express. To vote, children must read a minimum of five books from one of the lists, or they can vote for more than one category if they read a minimum of five books from each list. Join our monthly Saturday afternoon club where we will discuss the books and do some fun activities. Refreshments provided.
