Little Free Seed Library Launch

The Brantford Public Library has partnered with Equal Ground Community Gardens to offer a Little Free Seed Library at the Main Branch.

The partnership will be launched with a special event featuring guests talks from John Moons, David Morris of Wilfrid Laurier University and TerryLynn Brant from Mohawk Seedkeeper Gardens.

Prizes, including two giant gift baskets from Antler Services will be given out at the event.

Deborah Ellis Author Visit (Ages: All)

Join us for an author talk with Deborah Ellis, award-winning author of more than 30 works of fiction and non-fiction about children all over the world. Following the talk there will be a showing of The Breadwinner, an Oscar nominated film based on one of Deborah's books.

Learn how to create healthy and financially sustainable meal plans! This workshop includes tips, hands-on planning, and a starter kit.
