Food for Fines

The Brantford Public Library has partnered with the Brantford Food Bank to offer a Food for Fines program.

Through this initiative, customers may donate non-perishable food items in exchange for overdue fines. Each item is worth $5 and up to $20 will be forgiven. This forgiveness does not apply to lost or damaged fines.

Items will be accepted from 9 a.m. on Friday, April 27 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 4. The Library will donate all items to the Brantford Food Bank.

The Food for Fines initiative is part of our Grand Opening celebrations recognizing the completion of construction at the Main Branch.
