Brantford Public Library Now Offers Downloadable Audio Books

It's 10:00 p.m. and you forgot to stop by the library to pick up an audio book for tomorrow morning's commute. If you're like many people, you love listening to audio books on your way to work, on vacation, while doing housework of just for fun. But what do you do if the library is closed and you want a book now? Why download it tonight of course!!

With Brantford Public Library's new Digital Media Collection many customers will be doing just that with the hundreds of titles currently available – right at their fingertips! "We realize that people's lives are busier than ever, and these downloadable audio books are another great way to access the library’s resources 24/7," says Library CEO, Rose Vespa.

All Brantford Public Library cardholders now have access to many popular fiction authors including Dean Koontz, Danielle Steele, Tami Hoag and Nora Roberts. Popular non-fiction titles such as The Audacity of Hope by Barrack Obama or Dr. Andrew Saul’s popular book Doctor Yourself Natural Healing That Works are also available in this ever-growing collection. Or perhaps you'd like to learn a language while you tackle your spring cleaning or set out on a long business flight – Japanese, Spanish, French and Italian are some of the languages you can learn at your leisure.
